DESCRIPTION:FieldSTEM: Designing Field Investigations\nWednesday\, January 11 & 25\, 2023  |  4 PM to 6 PM\n(Plus 2 hours asynchronous work) \n  \nAttention All Washington State Formal K-12 Educators!\nJoin Pacific Education Institute (PEI) for our Designing Field Investigations online workshop. In this professional learning experience\, you will design and implement investigations that can be conducted in the schoolyard or at other outdoor field sites. You will also have time to collaborate with grade-level peers and plan how you might integrate field investigations into your teaching practice. \nThe online workshop will be a blended experience including online Zoom and self-paced learning: \n\nJanuary 11\, 2023; 4 PM to 6 PM: 2-hour Zoom session\nAsynchronous work (Approximately 2 hours)\nJanuary 25\, 2023; 4 PM to 6 PM: 2-hour Zoom session\n\nParticipants who attend both in-person sessions and complete all associated work will receive: 6 Washington State approved STEM clock hours. \nNote: There will be an opportunity for participants to receive a $100 implementation stipend upon the completion of additional work.
