DESCRIPTION:FieldSTEM Notebooks for Secondary Educators\n(workshop FULL-waitlist available) \nAttention all middle school and high school educators! \nHave you ever wanted to start using notebooks in your classroom? Join PEI FieldSTEM Coordinators\, Julie Tennis and Megan Rivard\, on an exploration of the use of the notebook as a tool for student learning\, as well as a tool to assess student learning. Workshop participants will learn how to set up a notebook\, explore different entry types\, make outdoor observations\,* and how to utilize the notebook as a formative and summative assessment tool. \nDates and Times of Synchronous Learning: \n\n\nTuesday\, October 27\, 2020\, 4 PM to 6 PM \n\n\nWednesday\, October 28\, 2020\, 4 PM to 6 PM \n\n\nThursday\, October 29\, 2020\, 4 PM to 6 PM \n\n\nParticipants who attend all sessions will receive: \n\n\n6 Washington State approved STEM clock hours  \n\n\nA $125 participation stipend \n\n\nPlease note: you must be a middle school or high school educator to attend this workshop.\n \n*A Fostering Outdoor Observation Skills guide is available to you as part of this workshop.
