DESCRIPTION:Solutions Oriented Learning: Regenerative Agriculture \nJoin the Pacific Education Institute and our ClimeTime partners in exploring the role of regenerative agriculture in Eastern* Washington’s key industry and its contribution to climate resiliency. Participants will engage with the solutions-oriented learning storyline format\, which includes: local anchoring phenomena\, culturally responsive practices tied to Since Time Immemorial\, and NGSS three-dimensional formative assessment. All grade levels are encouraged to attend! \nThis workshop is part of a series of activities that includes: \n\nSession 1: Monday\, May 11: 12:30pm – 2:30pm\nSession 2: Thursday\, May 14: 12:30pm – 2:30pm\nIndependent Work: to be completed outside workshop hours\n\nParticipants who participate in all three activities and complete the implementation plan are eligible to receive: \n\nA $150 participation stipend\n6 STEM Washington State approved clock hours\n\n*This workshop is for educators who work in the region of Eastern WA only.\n**Materials and documents shared via Google Classroom
