DESCRIPTION:FieldSTEM Teacher Leader Institute\n(By Invitation Only) \nJoin all PEI’s Regional FieldSTEM Coordinators\, for an immersive week-long online FieldSTEM Teacher Leader Institute designed to initiate the implementation of FieldSTEM while addressing the Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core State Standards. This online workshop is intended for formal K-12 teacher leaders from invited districts. \nOnline Workshop Dates and Times: \n\nDay 1: Monday\, June 8\, 2020\, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm\nDay 2: Tuesday\, June 9\, 2020\, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm\nDay 3: Wednesday\, June 10\, 2020\, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm\nDay 4: Friday\, June 12\, 2020\, 2:00 pm to 3:10 pm\n\nParticipants will: \n* Experience the FieldSTEM model which includes: \n\nELA Performance Tasks\nLocally relevant field investigations and engineering design\nCommunity Collaborators and career connections\nCivic and Cultural Engagement\n\n* Receive mentored planning time with examples of how districts have implemented FieldSTEM across grade levels \n* Create an action plan \n* Receive: \n\nPost-workshop support from your regional FieldSTEM Coordinator\n9 Washington State Approved STEM Clock Hours\nPEI Resources\n\n***Formal K-12 educators are eligible to earn a $150 stipend.
