SUMMARY:SOLS: Regen Ag (ESD105 Region)
DESCRIPTION:Solutions Oriented Learning Storylines: Regenerative Agriculture for ESD105*\n(for educators in the ESD 105 region only!) \nJoin Pacific Education Institute (PEI) and our ClimeTime partners for a deep dive into Regenerative Agriculture\, focusing on the Central Washington region. The workshop will be based on our Solutions Oriented Learning Storyline\, designed around six guiding principles: Indigenous perspectives\, local anchoring phenomena\, culturally responsive practices\, NGSS three-dimensional student growth measures\, a solutions-oriented approach to drawing down greenhouse gases\, and opportunities to elevate student voices in their communities. \nThis opportunity is for K-12 classroom teachers in Washington public schools and includes one online Zoom session\, asynchronous learning opportunities on Google Classroom\, and an in-person field experience at a working farm: \n\nMay 10\, 2022: 4 – 6 pm on Zoom\nMay 14\, 2022: 9 am – 12 pm at Cloudview Ecofarm \nAsynchronous work: approximately two hours\n\nParticipants who complete all three components will receive: \n\n7 Washington State approved STEM Clock Hours\n$200 Participation Stipend\n\n*Please note: This opportunity is only for K-12 teachers in ESD105 public schools.
