DESCRIPTION:Solutions Oriented Learning Storylines: Urban Forestry\nK-3 Climate Science Series with ESD 113\n(by invitation from ESD113) \nAttention Formal K-3 Educators! \nJoin Pacific Education Institute (PEI) and our ClimeTime partners for a series of workshops focused on climate science and urban forestry in the southern Puget Sound region. Cohort members will explore the Solutions Oriented Learning Storyline for Urban Forestry\, deepen their knowledge of inclusive and locally relevant instructional practices\, and spend time collaborating and planning with grade band colleagues. \nThis is a blended workshop series\, with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous sessions. All synchronous sessions will be virtual. \n\n12/8/21\, 4 PM to 5 PM\n1/12/22\, 4 PM to 6 PM\n1/19/22\, 4 PM to 6 PM\n2/9/22\, 4 PM to 6 PM\n2/16/22\, 4 PM to 6 PM\n3/9/22\, 4 PM to 5 PM\n\nParticipants who attend all online sessions and complete all asynchronous work in Google Classroom* will receive: \n\n15 STEM Washington State approved clock hours\nImplementation opportunities\, including support and stipend \n\n*Note: To access the asynchronous portion of this workshop\, you will need to have or open a Google account.
