DESCRIPTION:Solutions Oriented Learning Storylines: Solar!\nWednesday\, February 8 & 22\, 2023 | 4 PM to 6 PM \n  \nAttention all K-12 Formal Educators! \nJoin Pacific Education Institute (PEI) and our ClimeTime partners as we shine some light on the climate solution of solar renewable energy in Central Washington. Participants will learn about the Solutions Oriented Learning Storyline format\, which includes: centering Indigenous perspectives\, local anchoring phenomena\, culturally responsive practices\, NGSS three-dimensional student growth measures\, and a solutions-oriented approach to drawing down greenhouse gases with opportunities to elevate student voices in their communities. \nThis workshop is part of a series of activities that includes two online Zoom sessions\, three self-paced asynchronous learning opportunities\, and providing feedback on the storyline as you explore it. \nParticipants who attend both sessions and complete the asynchronous activity will receive: \n\n6 Washington State approved STEM Clock Hours\nA $100 participation stipend\nThe opportunity to earn a $200 implementation stipend\n\nRegister Here: https://www.tfaforms.com/5029604 \n
