As part of this in-person* professional learning experience\, participants will explore key elements related to forest ecology and management.  \nParticipants will experience Washington state forests firsthand\, learning from small forest landowners and forging new community partnerships to help nurture inclusive and locally relevant instructional practices. Collaboration and planning time with grade band colleagues will be an integral part of this experience to directly support the design of meaningful field-based education for K-12 students. \nParticipants who attend both days will receive: \n\n12 Washington state approved STEM clock hours\n$150 Participation Stipend\nGrade K-8 educators: Project Learning Tree’s Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Guide\nGrade 9-12 educators: Project Learning Tree secondary resources\n\n*Registration for this workshop is only open to Formal K-12 Educators in Pacific and Grays Harbor counties.
