DESCRIPTION:Live In-Person Workshop\nHonoring the Waters: \nTribal Sovereignty\, Salmon Recovery\, and Co-Management in WA\nTuesday\, August 12th – Starts @9:30AM – Olympia\, WA\nThis workshop will engage teachers with salmon recovery efforts in Washington state through the lens of co management. Teachers will explore PEI resources for teaching about salmon\, wetlands\, and habitat restoration and view the documentary Fish Wars. Guest presenters will share diverse perspectives about fishery comanagement both from a historical and modern context.
