By attending a free field trip orientation workshop\, educators will receive all the tools needed to confidently guide students on a meaningful outdoor learning experience.  \n***Only teachers who have participated in a field trip orientation workshop within the past three years are able to schedule a class for their field trip between May 15th and the end of the school year.  Teachers who have attended a workshop since 2011 and scheduled a field trip within the past two years may continue to schedule field trips between May 15th and the end of the school year without re-taking the workshop.*** \nAdmission to this four-hour workshop is free. \nRefreshments will be provided.  \nThis workshop offers 4 hours of Washington State approved clock hours. DESCRIPTION:Planning a field trip to Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge?\nCome experience firsthand what a field trip at Nisqually is all about! Learn about the history of the Refuge\, participate in both indoor and outdoor educational activities\, become familiar with the facilities and resources available for educational groups\, and walk the Twin Barns Loop Trail\, and learn about one of the largest restoration projects in the Puget Sound! By attending a free field trip orientation workshop\, educators will receive all the tools needed to confidently guide students on a meaningful outdoor learning experience.  \nWorkshop Dates:  \nSaturday\, December 3rd\, 9am-1pm \nSaturday\, February 10th\, 9am-1pm \nSaturday\, March 3rd\, 9am-1pm \nWednesday\, March 7th\, 4pm-8pm \n***Only teachers who have participated in a field trip orientation workshop within the past three years are able to schedule a class for their field trip between May 15th and the end of the school year.  Teachers who have attended a workshop since 2011 and scheduled a field trip within the past two years may continue to schedule field trips between May 15th and the end of the school year without re-taking the workshop.*** \nAdmission to this four-hour workshop is free. \nRefreshments will be provided.  \nThis workshop offers 4 hours of Washington State approved clock hours.
