DESCRIPTION:Growing UP Wild (GUW) is Project Wild’s award-winning early education program for children ages 3-7 that builds on children’s sense of wonder about nature\, and invites them to explore wildlife and the world around them. \nFor Whom? This workshop is for educators\, parents who have attended the basic Growing Up Wild workshop. Designed in response to requests from GUW participants eager to learn additional field and hands-on\, sensory activities to spark curiosity in young children and to help them develop lifelong social and academic skills. \n\nBring a reusable beverage container and a sack lunch\nLight snacks will be provided\nDress for the weather as we will be outdoors throughout the day\n\nSupport provided by Friends of the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Complex\, Nisqually River Foundation\, and USFWS. \nTo register: Please mail check BY October 15\, 2017 with your name\, school/organization\, email and phone # and if you want clock hours to: Nisqually River Foundation\, 12501 Yelm Hwy\, Olympia\, WA 98513.
