DESCRIPTION:Solutions Oriented Learning Storylines: Erosion and Food Waste \nBecome an integral part of this groundbreaking curriculum in Washington State!  \n#climetime #waclimetime #teachclimate \nPacific Education Institute (PEI) is recruiting 4th and 5th grade teachers to implement our erosion and food waste storylines that address climate change. Each storyline incorporates the following elements: NGSS aligned 3-Dimensional instruction\, Indigenous ways of knowing\, locally relevant activities\, and solution oriented learning based on research from Project Drawdown.  \nThis workshop is part of a series that includes: two-day workshop (support available for teachers traveling long distances)\, implementation of the storyline this fall\, collection and scoring submission of student work and a follow-up video conference to check in on progress and provide feedback at the end of October.  \nThis workshop is for 4th and 5th grade classroom teachers – grade levels team are encouraged.  \n\nSub reimbursement is provided up to $150 per day. \nA $150 implement stipend is available for those that implement the storyline\, attend the video conference follow-up\, and collect/submit student assessment data. \n12 STEM Washington State approved clock hours are available to teachers attending the two-day workshop. \n\nInterested?
