SUMMARY:Locally Relevant 3-D Climate Science Storylines
DESCRIPTION:Become an integral part of this groundbreaking curriculum in Washington State!  \n#ClimeTime #TeachClimateWA \nPacific Education Institute (PEI) is recruiting 4th and 5th grade teachers to pilot our erosion and food waste curriculum that addresses climate change. Each unit incorporates the following elements: NGSS aligned 3-Dimensional instruction\, Indigenous ways of knowing\, locally relevant activities\, and solution orientated learning based on research from Project Drawdown.  \nThis workshop is intended for Washington State classroom teachers in 4th and 5th grades. Grade level teams are encouraged.  \nA $300 implementation stipend is available for those who meet these requirements:  \n\nPilot the curriculum in their classrooms before May 8\, 2019\nAdminister pre and post assessment \nProvide student work to PEI \n\nInterested?
