DESCRIPTION:Salmon Outside and FieldSTEM Notebooks \n#midcolumbiafisheries #FieldSTEM #salmon \nIf you’re a classroom teacher with a salmon tank\, or working to provide more meaningful watershed experiences for your students\, join Mid Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group and Pacific Education Institute in the first of the “Salmon Outside” professional development series.  \nThis kick-off event features FieldSTEM Notebooks! Workshop participants will learn how to set up a notebook\, entry types\, outdoor observations\, and utilize notebooks as a formative and summative assessment tool.  \nWe will also get up close and personal with salmon during a field experience\, practicing observation and notebook skills while watching salmon build redds. This is an amazing opportunity to observe salmon in their natural environment completing their life cycle!  \nEligible workshop participants can earn 7.5 Washington State approved STEM clock hours! \nInterested?
