Centralia College Teachers Bring Creativity and Enthusiasm to Early Childhood Workshop

Here’s a question you’ve probably never considered: can a pinecone be played like a harmonica?

The answer is not really, but it sure is fun trying, as one teacher at a Trees & Me: Early Childhood Outdoor Learning workshop discovered in May.

Tree Planting Honors Lamont School District’s Graduating Class

What do eighth-grade students who have lived through a pandemic and Douglas fir trees have in common?

Honoring Ron Schultz

Remembering PEI's  Board President

It is with great sadness that we share that PEI Board President, Ron Schultz passed away this month. Ron has been an incredible advocate for conservation education in Washington. He has served on PEI's board of Directors for many years, he was a dear human and those that had the opportunity to work with him will not forget the impact he made. Condolences to his family. His time with us on Earth was too short.
