Washington State Indian Education Association Conference

Executive Director Kathryn Kurtz and project partners Jennifer LeBret and Apolonio Hernandez of Braided Education Consulting will be presenting our collaborative work on the project ‘Locally Relevant, Solutions-Oriented Climate Science Storylines’ at the Washington State Indian Education Association’s 35th annual conference at the Squaxin Island Tribe’s Little Creek Resort/Casino. The project, part of Washington State’s ClimeTime initiative, offers guidance on how to teach climate science education centered on Indigenous ways of knowing.
