This course applies scientific, restoration, and social studies ecology principles to the restoration of Washington habitats. The course builds upon topics covered in Introduction to Restoration Ecology to focus on safety, well-being, and ethics; historical, contemporary, and contemporary land management; plant identification and watershed ecology; restoration ecology management plan implementation; and career pathways. Students will complete a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) in a local natural area as part of the course.
