Introduction to Project Learning Tree for Non-Formal Educators

Project Learning Tree (PLT) uses trees and forests as windows on the world to increase students’ understanding of the environment and actions they can take to conserve it. Pacific Education Institute (PEI) wants to support nonformal educators, resources professionals and small woodland owners in their education and outreach efforts with a PLT training, catered to their unique needs!

This 2-hour online training will cover the basic tenants of PLT, an outline of the materials and extensions, and strategies for connecting PLT materials with students.

There is a workshop fee of $20. Participants will receive a digital copy of PLT’s K-8 “Explore Your Environment” guide (code to be emailed prior to the workshop). Participants have the option to purchase a physical copy of the guide for an additional $30 in the form below. Please note: the physical copy may not arrive until after the workshop date.
