Energy Breakfast Panel

May 17, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Washington State is the nation’s largest producer of hydropower and leads the country in clean energy jobs and innovation in the energy sector – Clean Energy News February 14, 2019. How do we effectively connect youth to careers in this field?

In a series of statewide Educating for a Green Economy conversations, the Pacific Education Institute and E3 Washington, in conjunction with the Governor’s Office through Employment Security Department funding, invites you to join us for a hosted breakfast panel with Q&A concerning current and emerging career pathways and challenges facing the energy sector as Washington transitions toward a green economy.

An early hydropower hub, the Inland Northwest fostered growth for innovative companies like Avista (formerly Washington Water Power, Itron, and ENGIE Insight (formerly Ecova). Each faced industry challenges and continued to innovate and support growth of core energy intensive forest products and transportation manufacturing industries in the Pacific Northwest.

Join us in Spokane, May 17th at the NEWTech Skill Center as we feature the energy sector as part of a series of Educating for a Green Economy conversations across Washington State.

Register now at https://energy_panel.eventbrite.com

Registration closes May 10th.
