Engaging Communities in Climate Education: Forestry & Carbon Sequestration

8/12 : 3-7pm * 8/13 : 9am-4pm * 8/14 : 9am-3pm

Join Pacific Education Institute and our ClimeTime partners at Nature Bridge in Olympic National Park to learn more about teaching climate science through the lenses of forestry and carbon sequestration. This three day workshop will include a forestry tour, a panel discussion on carbon sequestration, and opportunities to learn about climate resources you can use in your classroom.

Teachers who attend all three days will receive:
– 14 STEM clock hours
– A selection of teaching materials and tools to use in their classroom
– An opportunity to receive an implementation stipend post-workshop

This workshop is FREE to attend for K-12 educators! Your credit card information will be collected, but participants will only be charged if you fail to attend without notification.
