Want your students to apply their science practices outdoors?

Join Pat Otto and Mike Nepean for an exciting workshop that explores field investigations. Go from categorizing types of questions to planning and carrying out an investigation. Then use your data as evidence to construct arguments and explanations. By using the field investigation process outlined in the guide, students are given the opportunity to be scientists collecting real-world data while contributing to their understanding of natural systems.

This workshop is designed to help formal K-12 educators change science instruction to meet the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) particularly 3-Dimensional instruction.
