The Forest FieldSTEM® Institute will support the integration of forest education, forest sites, and community partners in the delivery of education standards. Teachers will leave the workshop with an implementation plan supported by grade level appropriate resources, 18 STEM clock hours and participation and implementation stipends totaling $300.

The workshop will be appropriate for K-12 teachers with grade band breakouts in the classroom, in the field, and across content areas and will have grade level planning sessions for secondary teams, and grade band teams for  elementary.

We will be approaching the content from a scientific point of view, but we will provide examples of integration and cross-content areas and include collaborative planning time throughout the workshop.
