Project WILD

Spend the morning at Tacoma Nature Center and get WILD about learning! Join PEI and co-facilitator Connor Runyan from the Pierce Conservation District to discover ways to teach K-12 students about biodiversity and ecosystems using science journals and hands-on, interdisciplinary lessons from Project WILD!
Throughout the workshop, educators will have a chance to model lessons and to learn about local education resources. Lesson plans have been aligned with national and state learning standards.
Participants who attend the session will receive:
- 3 Washington state approved STEM clock hours
- Project WILD guide
*PEI will be following state guidelines regarding COVID19. If the venue or facility has stricter policies, PEI will abide by those policies. Please do not attend if you currently have symptoms or have had recent exposure to someone that is suspected of or tested positive for a COVID infection. Participants attend at their own risk.
