Spend the morning at Tacoma Nature Center and get WILD about learning! Join PEI and co-facilitator Connor Runyan from the Pierce Conservation District to discover ways to teach K-12 students about biodiversity and ecosystems using science journals and hands-on, interdisciplinary lessons from Project WILD!
Throughout the workshop, educators will have a chance to model lessons and to learn about local education resources. Lesson plans have been aligned with national and state learning standards.
Participants who attend the session will receive:
- 3 Washington state approved STEM clock hours
- Project WILD guide
*PEI will be following state guidelines regarding COVID19. If the venue or facility has stricter policies, PEI will abide by those policies.
