Salmon Educator Forum

Attention all Central WA K-12 Educators and CTE Educators!

Are you a salmonid-rearing guru? Or have you inherited a giant empty tank and are wondering what to put in it? Are you somewhere in between? Then we want YOU at the upcoming salmon in the classroom teacher forums! In each of these 2-hour sessions, we will hear from experienced educators about the best (and worst) of salmon classroom      programming, share your experiences, ask your questions, and walk away with a network of support in your growth as a salmon expert.

Forum Session 1: Hacking Salmon Education
There are myriad ways to integrate that salmon tank into science, ELA, math, social studies, art, and more. In this     forum, join the discussion to share your own successes, attempts, and wishes for salmon education integration.

Forum Session 2: Trouble with Tanks
If you’ve ever had an entire tank of fish kick the bucket before release day – how did you turn that into a learning      experience for your students? This discussion will include some of the ways we troubleshoot those challenges and   facilitate learning!
