Solutions Oriented Learning Storylines: Regenerative Agriculture for ESD105*

(for educators in the ESD 105 region only!)

Join Pacific Education Institute (PEI) and our ClimeTime partners for a deep dive into Regenerative Agriculture, focusing on the Central Washington region. The workshop will be based on our Solutions Oriented Learning Storyline, designed around six guiding principles: Indigenous perspectives, local anchoring phenomena, culturally responsive practices, NGSS three-dimensional student growth measures, a solutions-oriented approach to drawing down greenhouse gases, and opportunities to elevate student voices in their communities.

This opportunity is for K-12 classroom teachers in Washington public schools and includes one online Zoom session, asynchronous learning opportunities on Google Classroom, and an in-person field experience at a working farm:

• May 10, 2022: 4 – 6 pm on Zoom
• May 14, 2022: 9 am – 12 pm at Cloudview Ecofarm 
• Asynchronous work: approximately two hours

Participants who complete all three components will receive:

• 7 Washington State approved STEM Clock Hours
• $200 Participation Stipend
