The Nuts and Bolts of Salmon in the Classroom

Do you have a salmon tank waiting to be assembled?  Do you wish you did?

Join Tiffany Bishop and Emily Smith from Mid-Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group for the continuation of the Salmon Outside! series. In this workshop, participants will learn the ins-and-outs of salmon tank equipment including set-up and maintenance.

Participants will also hear from local teachers and experts on their favorite practices for salmon tank and curricular integration. After learning about how to get the most of the classroom salmon tank experience, participants will move outside for hands-on practice in a nearby natural area.

Eligible participants can earn 3 Washington State approved STEM clock hours.
