Our FieldSTEM model is designed to help educators implement equitable environmental and sustainability education. By providing our program in Spanish for educators at dual language schools, PEI can support the programs in Spanish and English by translating, adapting, and developing resources in Spanish. Our bilingual facilitators conduct bilingual workshops in Spanish and provide ongoing support to teachers so they can engage students in locally based outdoor learning within their dual language programs.

FieldSTEM Model
Through PEI’s Dual Language Program in Spanish, we strive to provide Field Stem experiences for our multicultural youth and their communities by implementing our educational framework. We approach such communities through the work of our Regional and State coordinators and in partnership with our Washington multicultural communities’ entrepreneurs.
Teaching Materials
Our resources include customizable, integrated frameworks and performance tasks designed by education experts and aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). We are continually revising, translating, and developing our resources in Spanish to meet the needs of dual language educators.
