This course framework applies scientific, restoration ecology, and social studies principles to the restoration of Washington habitats. The course includes units on safety and well-being; land management practices; plant identification and watershed ecology; restoration ecology practices; restoration ecology laws and agencies; and career pathways. The course aligns with and can be used in conjunction with the Advanced Restoration Ecology framework. Students will complete a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) in a local natural area as part of the course.
