Engaging Communities in Agriculture Education

Come ready to explore hands-on outdoor education resources and participate in discussion with a diverse group of professionals that support agriculture in WA State. We will be sharing with educators the many ways you can guide students on a learning journey into WA State agriculture.

You will be introduced to a wonderful northeast WA site that may be accessed for student field experiences (Vetter Demonstration Farm and Forest) as well as agencies/organizations who are here to support you. Pend Oreille Conservation District, Stevens County Conservation District, Pacific Education Institute, WSU Stevens County Extension, and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service are teaming up to facilitate this workshop.
