(district in-service workshop)

During this session, participants will engage in activities designed to integrate STEM alignment with current curriculum and supporting equity, accountability, and communication through observing natural phenomena, asking questions about phenomena, designing investigations, exploring phenomena, collect and analyze data patterns and communicating findings. 

Participants explore activities as both learner and educator, with time to reflect on the content and align strategies and skills with current content. Connections to STEM-based careers are drawn by shared PEI online resources and connection to career choices and K-12 Career and College Readiness.

Participants who attend the 3.5 hour in-person session and complete 2 hours of asynchronous work will earn 5.5 WA State Approved STEM clock hours.
