Attend this FieldSTEM Institute offered by Pacific Education Institute to meet your needs for an integrated program addressing the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Common Core State Standards, and Washington State Sustainability Standards. This workshop is for Formal K-8 Educators.

Participants will:

• Develop a high-impact field investigation experience while focusing on teaching and assessing Next Generation Science Standards
• Experience Performance Tasks, using science as the content, to improve ELA and STEM achievement in your classroom
• Create pre- and post-learning activities to enrich your student’s outdoor field experience.
• Get hands-on experience teaching real-world science, outdoors!
• Receive mentored planning time with comprehensive examples of how one district implemented a K-10 FieldSTEM program
• Have the opportunity to earn 12 Washington State Approved STEM Clock Hours – at no cost!

Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants are eligible to receive a $150 stipend (Details provided at workshop—registration is required).
