Pacific Education Institute invites you to join PEI Faculty, Karen Lippy for the FieldSTEM – Designing Field Investigations workshop! 

Whether you are interested in providing a rich outdoor experience, concerned with how to help your students be prepared for state testing or field studies, or simply looking for a way to address sustainability  standards, Designing Field Investigations will meet your needs. 

Participants will: 

• Develop their own field investigations, while focusing on teaching and assessing NGSS
• Receive mentored time to work on Field Investigation development
• Receive a copy of PEI’s guide Field Investigations: Using Outdoor Environments to Foster Student Learning of Scientific Practices
